What is a Health Coach?
A Health Coach is a person who helps their clients make behavior changes to improve their health and wellness. This is done using evidence-based skills to help the clients create healthy changes in their mindset, lifestyle, and habits. Coaching can held over the phone, video or in person. Coaches do not tell their clients what to do, they help them find ways to do what they want to to reach their health and wellness goals. Coaching sessions are usually held from 20 to 50 minutes and allow the client to own their autonomy.
